I was between books waiting for another book to come in the mail and so I picked up this novel and instantly fell in love just as I did with A Princess of Mars and it’s hero, John Carter. Revisiting the story again intrigued me especially since now I know that the story of Tarzan is originally a novel written by the same author as the Martian Tales Trilogy, Edgar Rice Burroughs.
